Physician Assistant - Certified

Rudy Solórzano PA-C is a physician assistant in Knee and Shoulder Surgery and Sports Medicine for Dr. Carlos Prietto at Orthopaedic Specialty Institute. Rudy currently works with Dr. C. Prietto to manage the care of sports injuries and post - operative surgery patients within the office and in the hospital.

Rudy serves as the first assist to Dr. C. Prietto in the operating room.

Rudy's back ground is Physical Therapy - as a Physical Therapist Assistant, Rudy worked at St. Joseph's Hospital for seven years in the In-Patient Rehabilitation Services, before he pursued his interest and passion in the surgical field in medicine. Rudy completed his physician assistant medical training at the University of Washington - Northwest MEDEX Physician Assistant Program, and became a member of Dr. C. Prietto's staff in May 2004.

Rudy has hospital privileges at St. Joseph Hospital of Orange and Main Street Specialty Surgery Center. Besides obtaining his Physician Assistant-Certified license in California, Rudy has also received the privilege to use the Physician Assistant - Certification nationally.

Rudy is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistant (AAPA), California Academy of Physician Assistant (CAPA), Physician Assistant in Orthopaedic Surgery (PAOS), and Physician Assistant of Latino Heritage (PALH).
