Joshua Phillips, PA-CPhysician Assistant
Joshua Phillips is a certified Physician Assistant with experience in both surgical and non-surgical spine care. Joshua works directly with Dr. Jeremy Smith and Dr. Jon White in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of spinal pathology. Joshua is passionate about helping his patients manage pain, improve movement, and achieve their functional goals.
Joshua graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis. Following graduation he worked as a clinical research associate at the UC Davis Medical Center studying cognitive dysfunction in schizophrenia.
In 2013 he attended Rutgers University where he received a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. After graduating, he worked in Orthopaedic Surgery at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He has been working at Orthopaedic Specialty Institute since 2017.
Joshua is a professional member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the California Academy of Physician Assistants. In his free time he enjoys the outdoors, exploring new cities, rock climbing, and listening to live music.
