Morgan Pierce, NP, RNFA
Morgan Pierce is a Board Certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) with Dr. Jay Patel at Orthopaedic Specialty Institute. Working together, Dr. Patel and Morgan manage the care of total joint replacement and arthritis surgery patients within the office, operating room, and the hospital nursing units. Morgan is also a Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant to Dr. Patel in the operating room. Prior to joining the staff at Orthopaedic Specialty Institute, Morgan worked as a floor nurse and charge nurse at Hoag Orthopedic Institute taking care of post-operative surgical patients since its inception in 2010. Morgan has privileges at Hoag Orthopedic Institute and St. Joseph Hospital of Orange.
Morgan graduated Magna Cum Laude and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from California State University, Fresno. After completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and providing direct patient care for over 10 years, Morgan returned to school and received her Master of Science in Nursing degree and AGACNP certification from California State University, Long Beach.
Morgan is a member of National Association of Orthopedic Nurses, California Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Association of periOperative Registered Nurses.
