Dr. Samuel W. Park is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee arthroplasty. Dr. Park is a Harvard Fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, and the first surgeon on the West Coast to utilize robotic technology for knee arthroplasties. The combination of Dr. Park’s extensive surgical experience and innovative robotic resources ensures a higher recovery rate while minimizing post-operative infection reports. Dr. Park also serves as the Medical Director of the Joint Replacement Department at Providence Mission Hospital. Given his in-depth clinical knowledge and extensive surgical experience with robotic technology, he serves as a mentor to orthopedic surgeons who wish to learn more about the use of robotics. Dr. Park averages approx. 600 surgeries per year, which include: Minimally invasive joint replacements, Anterior total hip arthroplasties, Partial knee replacements and Total knee replacements.
Dr. Samuel W. Park is a Southern California native and grew up in the city of La Canada Flintridge. When not in OR, you are most likely to find him outdoors, tracking down his lost golf balls or with a fishing pole in hand.
